This is the only knife in the Mantis line that has been constructed of BG-42 ball bearing stainless steel. This steel has a very high edge retention rate, so durability is its strong suit. The design was inspired by an open wheel race car. When folded, the carabiner loop and pivot at the opposite end, closely resemble a race car. This knife certainly exemplifies all of the things that make the MANTIS brand unique.
