Specifically designed to be a folding knife for hunters, the Kershaw 1898 LoneRock Folder is built tough. The 3 1/2 inch blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a black titanium carbo-nitride coating that works to reduce wear in tear from use. For a sure grip, the Glass Filled Nylon handle features Kershaw's K-Texture, which uses a repeating pattern of the Kershaw K logo to give you fingers more surface to hold on to. This folding knife opens manually using the large groove in the blade, so there’s no thumbstud to get in the way of your work and the sturdy mid-lock secures the blade while you work. Mid-spine jimping provides a good grip for fine control and the big belly handle makes skinning easier.
