The original Primer Feed Cam installed on the press is easy to break, warp or wear out if there is something a little out of alignment in the reloading sequence. By upgrading to the Breakaway Primer Feed Cam you can avoid the frustration of having to wait for a replacement. Once this part is installed if there is something out of alignment during the reloading sequence the cam pulls apart from the cam-retainer before any damage to the cam can be done.
