The TACO is made to handle any rifle magazine and it has polymer sides with Cordura front and back and shock cord to lock in just about any magazine. Your magazines are help in place ready with the shock for easy silent deployment when it gets exciting. These pouches can also be used to hold any item of a similar size such as flash bangs. However, if additional retention is desired, webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers.
